I Hear it in the Deep Heart’s Core
Devised by musician, composer and singer Enda Reilly and Artistic Director Cathal Quinn, this was created for the Yeats celebrations in Japan and expanded upon to play on Culture Night in Dublin as part of the worldwide commemoration of Yeats’s birth in 2015. It comprises an hour of Yeats poems spoken and sung in English and Irish, with some pithy and witty explanations in between the poems. Some of Yeats’s best loved poems are included, and many have superb tunes put to them by Enda Reilly. All translations into Irish by Gabriel Rosenstock. [/two_thirds_first]
