Guthanna Binne Síoraí was founded in 2012 by Gabriel Rosenstock – poet and translator and Executive Director, and Cathal Quinn – actor, director, Head of Voice at the The Lir, Trinity College and Artistic Director.

Guthanna Binne Síoraí is based in Dublin, Ireland and has toured to Belfast, Connemara, India and Japan.

Its aim is to celebrate great Irish poetry, and bring it off the page and into people’s hearts, in both English and Irish. This is done in collaboration with dancers, musicians and singers, and so far Guthanna Binne Síoraí has produced one CD and four highly entertaining shows of an exquisite standard:

  • Everlasting Voices/Guthanna Síoraí
  • Teanga an Ghrá
  • I Hear it in the Deep Heart’s Core
  • Blood on the Rose/ Fuil ar an Rós

All produced and directed and by Tristan Rosenstock of TG4’s Arts Programme Imeall.
